Questions drivers actually ask.

Is driving with Wave a guaranteed income source?
No. Wave does not guarantee any minimum rides, hours, or earnings. Acceptance is subject to background check clearance. This is independent contractor work.
What's the background check and how much does it cost?
A multi-state BGC plus motor vehicle review. Most applicants clear in 3–5 business days. Annual members have the BGC included; monthly members pay a separate $249 BGC fee before activation.
Do I need my own vehicle and insurance?
Yes — you drive under your own LLC or as an IC with your own vehicle, commercial insurance, and registration. Wave provides the platform, not the vehicle.
When does my membership activate?
On BGC pass. Your Wave Certified profile publishes to the directory and you receive your Blue Check. Leads begin routing based on your domain and location.
Can I drive on other platforms too?
Yes. Wave is a network membership, not exclusivity. Drive however you want — Wave exists alongside whatever else you're running.
What happens if I cancel?
Monthly members can cancel anytime; directory listing and Blue Check remain until the end of your billing period. Annual members hold certification for the full 12 months — no prorated refund.
